Inspired by traditional Japanese garments, this sweater features a modern interpretation of kimono sleeves, stripes separated by dotted rows, and wide ribbing through the waistline and at the lower sleeves. Easy to knit, and easy to combine your favorite colors.

Sizes: S (M) L

Measurements:

Chest: 35.5 (42.5) 50.5 in / 90 (108) 128 cm

Length from shoulder to beginning of the ribbing is 14.25 (15.5) 16.5 in / 36 (39) 42 cm; however, because the piece is knitted in the “wrong” direction, you should add .75 in / 2 cm or so. Total length can be determined by making the ribbing as long as desired. The length for the sweater in the photo is 24.5 in / 62 cm.

“Wingspan” from the cast-on to bind-off rows is 33 (37) 40.5 in / 84 (93) 103 cm. This length also may be adjusted by making the ribbing in the lower sleeves as long as desired.
