Combine two different yarns to make your own marl in this quick and colorful hooded scarf! Worked in basic single crochet without any shaping, the simple rectangular shape is ideal for beginners. Keep it as-is for a classic scarf or stitch a single seam to form a head-hugging hood.

Scarf is worked vertically in rows in one piece from long edge to long edge. Upon completion, scarf is folded in half and seamed at top to create the hood. Work entire scarf with one strand each of bulky weight yarn and fingering weight yarn held together as one.
