Maurice Shawl

The Maurice Shawl, inspired by William Morris wallpaper but spelt the way my Grandad spelt his name, is a large crescent shawl. It was designed in collaboration with Beautiful Knitters using their Victoria yarn base (80% merino wool, 20% camel; 165m in 50g) in the colour Pine. The shawl is created by knitting from tip to tip so you never have too many stitches on your needle. The main body of the shawl is a garter rib pattern with a leafy lace border along the edge. There are now three versions of the pattern, the original in Sport weight, plus versions in fingering and lace weight.
