May Queen Shawl
The May Queen is an asymmetrical triangular shawl, worked from one end to the other. The main body of the shawl is worked in a lacy shell pattern which transitions to a fun, beaded border featuring floral and butterfly motifs. The pattern is suitable for the adventurous beginner. She’s quick to work up, and a fun way to dip your toes into beaded crochet without a huge commitment. And if you prefer, you can skip the beads entirely and still have a fun and functional shawl that can be worn in many more ways than one.
Pattern is fully charted, and all special stitches are included in the written instructions. Beading and Blocking instructions are also included.
I invite you to make1!
Also includes downloadable PDF, “Ways to wear a Boomerang Shawl”, which includes several ideas for styling this fun and versatile shawl shape.
