McLAUGHLIN
DARIO TUBIANA’S artistic talents have been put to good use on his latest knitwear design, which features a huge picture of summer poppies. The pattern is worked in intarsia, and this long tunic features buttoned side openings at the lower edges, and small
sleeve caps which are shaped using German short rows. It is knitted in
a British DK wool from West YorkshireSpinners, called ColourLab.

PATTERN NOTES
If preferred, you can use duplicate stitch on the smaller sections of colourwork, such as the black edging, the lighter green and
the yellow flower centres. For all larger colourwork sections, use the intarsia technique, twisting colours together where they join to prevent holes forming.
