These mitts were designed on a cold dreary fall day that I made meatloaf for dinner. In the poor lighting of my dining room the mitts I had been working on all afternoon actually did resemble our dinner and the similarity struck me. Thick and hearty, warm and soft. So, the Meatloaf Mitts. Just perfect for wearing over lightweight gloves. My family’s meatloaf recipe follows, as well.
