Mediterranean Seas Lap Blanket
Bring the Mediterranean into your home without having to travel!
I grew up in Greece and having the sea as my playground was something I was incredibly grateful for (especially since they tend to use gravel in their parks instead of grass or rubber mats). Even though I didn’t live on an island the sea by my apartment would take on the most amazing colors, pale greens on a calm day or dark grays during strong winds. I was inspired by those colors and the colors of the sea off of various islands I’ve traveled to for this lap blanket.
As for the patterns, they reflect the ubiquitous island architecture, a stone walkway leading up to a white house framed by beautiful flowers.
This blanket is the perfect size to keep on your lap on chillier summer evenings and to daydream about traveling to far off places…
