This wonderfully graceful cowl takes its name from an active stratovolcano in Chile. The hints of color reveal themselves in peaks and glimpses when the cowl is worn doubled around the neck. Knitted in the round with no seams and only two rounds of purl stitches, Melimoyu is great for smooth “mindless” knitting with just enough detail with the stranded borders to add interest. A wonderful classy accessory to add to a cool climate wardrobe.

Finished size 15 in. (38 cm) wide, 54 in. (137 cm) circumference.

Gauge 4 in. (10.2 cm) = 26 sts and 26 rnds
Note: Some knitters find a gauge difference between stockinette stitch in a single yarn and stranded work in two yarns. Be sure to check your gauge and adjust appropriately.
