Designed by Claudia Q
While these mitts keep tiny hands cosy and warm in cold weather, the adorable lilies and buzzing bees make you look forward to warmer months to come. I named the pattern after my talented friend, Midori, who embroidered all the samples for this book.
The mittens are worked in the round from the cuff up. The thumb stitches are held on waste yarn and picked up from the row below and the row above the waste yarn after the body of the mittens is completed. The top of the mittens is grafted together. Finally, a touch of embroidery is added on the top of each hand.
