Millie Square Scarf
I love simple lace, I think having simple projects where people can get their feet wet in a new technique is really important and this is just the sort of thing that does that. Elaine is knit from the centre out, and the diamond shapes are a good introduction to lace because they of the way they build on the previous row, it becomes easy to see how the design is progressing.
Yarn:Cascade Yarns’ Llamerino (50% Baby Llama/50% Merino Wool; 291 yards 267 meters/100 grams): 12 Chive (2 balls)
Needles: US size 4 (3.5 mm) DNPs and 24” circular needles
