Each of the Pennants begins with a stockinette stitch sleeve which the dowel will pass through. The remainder of the Pennants are worked in garter stitch. All Pennants are knit flat.

When changing colors using the intarsia method, bring the new color up and around the old color to prevent holes from forming in the work. When changing colors at the end of a row, cut colors and weave in ends.
