This is a great go-to pattern for ANY color-type of fingering weight yarn: stripes, self-patterning, variegated, speckled, solid, semi-sold, sparkles with tinsel, etc. Select a yarn that looks great, feels great and enjoy the stitching process!

These socks are designed to showcase the yarn and therefore, keep stitch textures (sockitecture) to a minimum. They feature classic ribbing, a shorter leg, flap and gusset heel shaping and a grafted toe. The leg and foot are in stockinette, so this pattern promises to quickly pick up a great rhythm and fly off the needles in no time.

Yarn

Select any fingering weight yarn that meets gauge. Consider one with nylon for durability and elasticity.

Notions

Pattern Notes

Socks are knit top-down from cuff to toe in the round.

Pattern is written for magic loop method of knitting in the round, but is easily adaptable if another method is preferred.

Yarn Substitutions

When substituting yarns, please choose a yarn of the same weight and fiber content as the yarn listed above. Do a test swatch and confirm that your gauge matches the gauge needed for the pattern.
