Moderato
Moderato is a toe up seed stitch sock with a guitar pattern knit in cabled relief across the instep. Instructions are written to be worked on a long circular needle with the magic loop technique, but you could knit these socks with two circulars or on double pointed needles.
Because the wraps can’t be seen easily in the seed stitch patterning, there is no need to pick up the wraps.
Errata: Pattern updated January 6, 2014.
Most recent version contains more rows of heel shaping for a more comfortable fit. On page two of the pattern, it contains this line: After turning, you will have 9 wrapped stitches on your right needle, and 10 unwrapped plus 9 (11, 13) wrapped sts on your left needle.
