Monkey Magic is an amazing stashbusing Missoni-ish blanket, wrap, scarf, stole or even bedspread.

You can use ANY yarn, with any needles to match your tension, but open and floppy is best. Make it soft, colourful and undulating or monotone and lacey.

The prototypes were made with leftovers from a variety of other projects and/or reclaimed yarns, so it’s a chance to make something new from almost nothing.

For a scarf: 3-5 pattern repeats and 2-300g of DK or equivalent.
For a baby blanket: 150-200g or thereabouts.
A large bedspread or blanket might take 1000-1500g or more.

Use up what you have! Thrift is seasonal goodness bringing karmic benefits in the highest. :)
