The idea for this mitten came to me when I was drawing templates for my carvings. I drew a lot of different moths and I thought, why not try to make a pattern out of it. I wanted to create a warm and durable mitten knitted in a durable rusic yarn. There are two different sizes, one for small hand and one for bigger hands.
I have knitted my mittens in a 3-ply norwegian wool from Rauma. This yarn is 195m/100g. I used approx 40g in each colour for the small size
and 45g for the big size.
