Moonrise Shawl
There has been an errata discovered. If you printed the pattern before December 13, 2012, please check and print an updated version of Moonrise Shawl on Fibre Space Blog!
This design is worked utilizing short-rows with 2 strands of yarns held together. Once you complete the knitting, the stitches are dropped in strategic places to create “ladders” that transform this shawl into larger canvas and add dimension to the surface, while letting through light to create this ethereal-looking accessory.
With the variety of metal-containing yarns available from Habu Textiles don’t be afraid to experiment and pair them together with other yarn like Silk or Lace Merino or Non-Twist Cotton and many other laceweight yarns.
