Morven Blanket
The Morven Blanket has a simple geometric tapestry crochet design with a fresh modern feel and a lovely textured central section.
As a baby blanket, the Morven blanket makes a wonderful gift for a new baby, or increase the size and you’ll have a gorgeous afghan for your home.
The pattern explains exactly how to adjust the blanket to your preferred size.
As always, the pattern includes full written instructions, comprehensive pattern notes, photos and a chart for making the blanket.
It also includes links to these video tutorials about techniques used in the blanket:

There are two pdf files for the pattern. One is with UK crochet terms and the other is with US crochet terms.
The finished blanket measures 66 x 86 cm but this can easily be adjusted as explained in the pattern.
The blanket used the following yarn:
Hobbii Rainbow Bamboo (4 ply; 250m / 100g ball; 60% bamboo viscose, 40% cotton)
MC: 3 balls in Curry (20)
CC1: 1 ball in Natural White (02)
CC2: 1 ball in Ocean Blue (35)
You could substitute for other 4-ply yarns, or go up to a DK yarn or even thicker.
Hooks: 2.5 mm & 3 mm
Crochet level: intermediate.
