The sweater is worked in the round, from bottom and up.
First, cast on using the Italian cast on method using scrap yarn.
Then work the ribbing and decreases, followed by pattern according to chart over the body, with a ribbing pattern in each side. Increases are worked on each side of the side ribbing pattern.
When the sweater has the desired length, sts for the armholes are put on hold in both sides.
The sleeves are worked from the bottom and up, and the body and the sleeves are then joined at the yoke.
Then work raglan decreases and pattern according to chart.
The sweater is finished with a double knitted neckband which is bound off using Italian bind off.
