The changing colours of the Three Sisters, a trio of mountain peaks that protectively overlook Canmore, Alberta, inspired this Fair Isle. My visit to the Rocky Mountains this winter left me in awe of their shear size and natural rugged beauty. As the sun set, the mountains would change from greys and white to rich shades of purple. This hat is knit in the round, fairly dense help to keep its shape. It starts with extra wide ribbing that can be folded up for a thick double brim, then topped off with a white pom pom. Knitted in 100% wool, this hat is incredibly cozy and you’ll feel like you’re taking a piece of the mountain with you, wherever you go.
