Welcome the Nellie Shawl to the family. A small, one skein shawl design in collaboration with Nellie and Eve.
The Nellie Shawl is a fun and engaging knit made using a combination of lace and cables. This is Twinset and Purl’s 4th collaboration and 2nd shawl designed using Helen’s yarn. It is amazing to work with this special yarn, grown and dyed so close to Helen’s home in Wales. The BFL yarn used in the sample is gorgeous, both the pattern and yarn transform with blocking.
This shawl would make a lovely gift knit, and I think it’s going to be one that you’ll want to make in all the colours!

Pattern Information:
Yarn: 400m fingering weight yarn; the sample is knit using Nellie and Eve Blue Faced Leicester 4 ply in colour way Brambly Hedge.
Suggested Needles: US 4/3.5mm or needles required to get gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle
Measurements: 150 cm/60” wingspan, 21 cm/8.4” depth
Gauge: 32 sts x 32 rows to 10cm/4” over stitch pattern blocked; gauge is less important in a shawl, however, if your gauge is looser than specified more yarn will be required.
