New Creation Shawl
The shape of this shawl was inspired by the shape of a butterfly. Worked as a top down triangle with a Faroese style center panel which divides at the bottom into “tails”, the border is attached to the live sts as it is knit.
This shawl is part of a three shawl series to be titled Beauty for Ashes that will be available as an ebook later this year, and all are designed to reflect our steps of faith. The first installment is Into the Depths.
Finished Measurements
Approximately 62” 157.5 cm at top edge and 22” 56 cm deep at center
This may vary depending on gauge and blocking.
