The cowl is composed of 12 different patterns. You can crochet as it is written, or you can switch the order of the rows. So you can have a new design every time. Even if you just change the order of the color, you can change the effect. It is similar to cooking; you cook the same food every time, but you try adding different spices to discover new flavors.
