Oribus is the Latin word for trellis and these socks have a criss-crossing trellis pattern.

Rounds of alternating colours are worked, slipping some stitches and then cabling these on the following round to form the pattern.

Charts are provided for both a dark MC and light CC, and for a light MC and dark CC. A single chart is provided that prints onto one sheet of paper, and enlarged charts are also provided that print onto 2 sheets of paper so you can just print the pages you need.

SIZES
To fit mid foot circumference of approx
Small: 17.5cm (7”) 56sts
Medium: 20cm (8”) 64sts
Large: 22.5cm (9”) 72sts

Photos shows size medium modelled on a person with shoe size AUS 7.5, EUR 38.5, UK 5.5

Yarn quantity: If both socks match, approx. 50g MC and 30g CC . For opposites (like the sample pair), approx. 40g of each colour.

Please note: Working the slipped stitches in mosaic knitting does provide a tighter fitting sock. I recommend you go up a needle size to what you would use for a plain (vanilla) sock and check fit as you go.
