ABOUT THE PATTERN:
I designed this crochet pattern based on my ideal purse shape and size. I wanted an everyday purse that I could just throw my necessities into and head out the door. Hence, the name. This purse has no closure, just a flap, but you could add a button if you so desire! I love adding a pop of color, and changing the color of the stripes totally changes the look of the bag.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Cotton yarn in 4 colors (I used 24/7 Cotton by Lion Brand)

• 2 skeins of main color (navy)
• Small amounts of 3contrasting colors (denim, lilac, silver) Size G (4 mm) crochet hook Stitch markers Yarn needle Scissors

FINISHED SIZE (LAYING FLAT):
Approx 10” wide x 7” tall, with a 20” handle

GAUGE:
4” x 4” = 20 sts x 24 rows of sc

YARN TOTALS:
Total = approx 5.75 oz / 306 yds
Main color = approx 4.25 oz / 226 yds
Contrast colors (3) = approx .5 oz / 27 yds each
