“Owl’s Clover” is a species of plant in the same family as Indian Paintbrush (my favorite wildflower), commonly found in the desert areas of California, Arizona and New Mexico.
Craving a crochet shawl with some texture and repetition I cast on, letting the pattern flow and grow. Adding an elegant edging with 2 different options which can be repeated as often as one chooses. Finishing with a picot edge to match the outside turning edge.
Yarn:
Main Color: 400yds (365 m)/100g of fingering weight yarn; shown in Marianated Scrumptious HT (80% superwash merino/10% cashmere/10% nylon) The forest through the trees
Contrasting Color: For 3 edge rows: 170yds (155 m) 45g; shown in solstice Midsommar Sock (75% superwash merino/15% cashmere/10% silk) Wild Iris
Size can be adapted by adding repeats of the edging. More CC will be needed.
Pattern has been updated and reformatted. It is still available for free on Knotions.com website.
Low Vision Accessibilty: Written in 23pt and 25 pt sans serif font in all black text. It has no italics. All of the directions are fully written out.
