Pamplemousse Pullover
Pamplemousse is a worsted weight circular-yoke sweater designed to fit with 2-4” / 5-10 cm positive ease at the chest for a relaxed fit. This pattern is worked seamlessly from the top down, allowing you to try it on as you go and easily adjust the finished length to your preference. German short rows are incorporated below the collar to raise the back of the neck slightly for a more comfortable fit.
Pamplemousse is designed with a high-hip body length and full-length sleeves. This pattern features stranded colorwork within the yoke and along the bottom of the sleeve (only two colors are ever used in a single round) and is adorned with Herringbone Stitch sleeve cuffs or (optional) Twisted Rib sleeve cuffs.

Suggested Needles
Needle sizes listed are suggestions. Use sizes necessary to achieve specified gauge.
• Needle A - US 8 / 5 mm, 16” & 32” / 40 & 80 cm (or longer) circular needles or size needed for Stockinette Stitch gauge; DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference (Body and Sleeves)
• Needle B - US 9 / 5.5 mm or one to two sizes larger than Needle A (as needed to achieve Stranded Colorwork gauge), 16” & 32” / 40 & 80 cm (or longer) circular needles; DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference
• Needle C - US 7 / 4.5 mm, 32” / 80 cm (or longer) circular needle or one size smaller than Needle A (twisted rib at Hem)
• Needle D - US 10.5 / 6.5 mm or two to three sizes larger than Needle A (as needed to achieve Herringbone Stitch gauge), DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference (Sleeve Cuff)
Note! I suggest interchangeable needles for Herringbone Stitch, to enable you to use a smaller size left-hand needle, which will not affect the gauge but will make the Herringbone Stitch easier to work.
• Needle E - US 6 / 4 mm or two sizes smaller than Needle A, 16”/ 40 cm circular needle (Collar); DPNs or circular needle in preferred length for working Magic Loop method for small circumference
(Alternate Cuff Option in 1x1 Twisted Rib)
Notions
• Distinct BOR marker

Gauge Information
Stockinette Stitch: 18 sts / 25 rnds per 4” / 10 cm worked on Needle A in the rnd, measured post-blocking
Stranded Colorwork: 18 sts / 22 rnds per 4” / 10 cm worked on Needle B in the rnd, measured post-blocking
Note! To ensure proper fit, it is essential to gauge swatch and to block your swatch in the same manner as you will the finished garment. It is not uncommon to knit Stranded Colorwork tighter than Stockinette Stitch. Be sure to swatch for the colorwork and adjust the needle size as necessary for gauge.
Herringbone Stitch: 24 sts / 20 rnds per 4” / 10 cm worked on Needle D in the rnd, measured post-blocking
1x1 Twisted Rib: 20 sts / 26 rnds per
4” / 10 cm worked on Needle E in the rnd, measured post-blocking (collar)
