22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm / 4in over stockinette back and forth using gauge-size needle. Use 4mm needle as a starting point for swatching.
Sizes
One size (length adjustable): width 23cm / 9in x length 200cm / 79in
The cable panels will draw in naturally while knitting: scarf should be blocked (with pins or wires) to the correct width.
Pattern notes
This long, cosy scarf features a neat slipped-stitch edging and a reversible cable pattern that looks equally good on both sides. Charts are read from right to left on right side rows, and left to right on wrong side rows.
