When trying out a new-to-me yarn, I often make a hat. This design began as such an exploration. The simple geometric colorwork reminds me of Parquet de Versailles, the elegant wood mosaic pattern used as flooring in the historic French palace.
Knit this hat in a hearty worsted-weight yarn for winter warmth.
