Parterre is a level space in a garden, occupied by flower beds; this wrap evokes their ornate beauty, in crisp linen held alongside a luxurious merino/silk blend. The first border of this rectangular stole is knit, followed by the shawl body; the shawl body stitches are then placed on a holder. The second border is knit and is grafted to the shawl body stitches, giving a seamless and symmetric construction.
