“Pas De Chat Top” is a summer top, knit top down, with unusual construction and asymmetrical lines.
The entire top is knit without either increases or decreases in a traditional Shetland lace stitch which brings to mind a cat’s paw. When you put it on, this top’s wearability is immediately evident, thanks to the unusual positioning of the collar and sleeves.
The sweater is knit starting from the neckline and the first section of the yoke is knit flat. Next the work is joined in the round and the knitting continues in the round for the second section of the yoke. When the yoke is terminated, halfway through the project, an opening is created which will become the second sleeve. Knitting continues on the body to the desired length.
Finally, the stitches are picked up for the two sleeves which are asymmetrical and knit in garter stitch.

XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) to fit bust size 76 (86, 96, 106, 117, 127) cm – 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50) in.
Shown in size M with bust size 96 cm – 38 in and with 34 cm – 13 ½ in of positive ease.

Sleeves length from underarm: 2 cm – ¾ in (first sleeve) and 25 cm – 10 in (second sleeve).
Sleeves circumference: 34 (34, 42, 42, 50, 50) cm – 13 ½ (13 ½, 16 ½, 16 ½, 19 ¾, 19 ¾) in.

Gauge:
20 sts and 38 rows/rounds = 10 cm – 4 in in “lace st” (after blocking).

BORGO DE’ PAZZI Hemp 100: 83 (pale blue) (Lace weight yarn; 100% natural Hemp; 250 m – 273
yds / 50 g – 1.76 oz. skein): 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins (895 975, 1100, 1235, 1380, 1495 m – 979
1067, 1203, 1351, 1510, 1635 yds).
Circular needle size 3 mm – US 2   with an 80 cm – 32 in cable. If necessary, please adjust needle
size to obtain the specified gauge.

1 stitch marker.
Waste yarn.

“Pas De Chat Top” è una maglietta estiva asimmetrica dalla costruzione insolita lavorata dall’alto verso il basso.
L’intera maglietta è lavorata nel tradizionale punto pizzo Shetland che ricorda l’orma di una zampa di gatto e non si effettuano né diminuzioni né aumenti. Una volta indossato, questo capo ha una vestibilità molto particolare, causata dall’insolita posizione del collo e delle maniche.
Si inizia montando le maglie per il collo e la prima manica e si lavora in piano.
Quindi si chiudono le maglie della prima manica e si inizia la lavorazione in tondo per lo sprone.
Alla fine dello sprone, a metà del lavoro, si crea un’apertura che sarà la seconda manica.
Si prosegue lavorando il corpo fino a raggiungere la lunghezza desiderata.
Alla fine si riprendono le maglie per le due maniche, che saranno lavorate in due lunghezze diverse.

XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) vestono un giro seno di 76 (86, 96, 106, 117, 127) cm.
Le foto si riferiscono alla taglia M indossata da una modella con un giro seno di 96 cm e con un agio di 34 cm.
