Pas de chat: a ballet leap that starts from the fifth position. One foot is lifted and then the other, while in mid-air the feet are together and drawn up, the knees are bent en dehors; the dancer lands first on the foot that started the leap, following rapidly by the other, in the fifth position. During the leap, the dancer moves slightly sideways in the direction of the foot that started the leap.

Pas de Chat” is a very elegant stole. Because it is made with a very fine yarn, it will take some time to knit, but the stitch chart is very easy to memorize and the final results create great visual impact.
