Then stitches are picked up for the shoulders, and the shoulders and fronts are worked separately back and forth before the piece is joined. Finally, double-knit front bands and collar are worked, constructed with discreet and almost invisible transitions so the pieces look the same on the right and wrong side. A contrast stripe is worked along all edges.
