Pattern Notes
This cardigan is knitted in the round from hte bottom up with a steek placed at centre front. Once the armholes are reached, further steeks are added. The shoulders are grafted together. Sleeves are knitted upwards in the round and then sewn into place. Button bands are added after the main garment is knitted. Finally the collar is picked up and knitted on to the garment. There is a full length chart for each size in the pattern, along with a corresponding steek chart.
The size shown in the photographs is the second size knitted in heavyweight yarn and worn with 5cm (2in) of positive ease. It is suggested that you choose a size with approximately 2.5-10cm (1-4in) of positive ease at the chest.
