his is a pattern for an ornately cabled shawl, comprised of three separate cable stitches.

This shawl is knitted with light d.k. yarn. The shawl is approximately 21 1/2 inches x 74 inches. Both the The focal cable stitch and the side cable stitches come to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

The stitches are both charted and written out, however it is advised that you can refer to a chart and not rely on the line by line.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling.)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. (This is the ONLY crochet in the pattern).

The yarn used in the sample is Malabrigo’s Rios yarn, in colorway, Clan. This pattern was expertly test knitted by ktbowen18@msn.com
