The Peregrine Shawl is a simple and elegant knit, using only one skein of fingering weight yarn, perfect for that skein of sock yarn you’ve been dying to use! It takes its construction the same manner as a top down shawl, but the yarn over increases actually travel away from each other to mock the effect of lace without the decreases. At the end, rows of garter ridges and eyelets stand out before being bound off with a picot bind off for the extra pop in this stunning knit!

MATERIALS:
One skein of A Verb for Keeping Warm: Floating – Jimmy Beans Wool Exclusive color: Seven Swans a Swimming.
(One skein of fingering or sock yarn at least 400 yds long will work for this project.)
US 4 47” circular needle
Three stitch markers
Tapestry needle

GAUGE AND MEASUREMENTS:
About 12 sts and 15 rows every 2” in stockinette.
About 50” in wingspan, and 26” from cast on to tip (deepest point),
