Petite Parquet
Petite Parquet combines classic herringbone with toothy wool for a smart, stylish accessory you’ll wear all season. With clean lines and a button-closure, this accessory fits neatly inside a favorite jacket or blazer for added warmth on a brisk day. It’s something between a cowl and a petite scarf, in a versatile, bulk-free size that’s easy to wear. The thick, textured fabric creates natural, structured folds that stay right where you want them.
Designed with slipped stitches (not colorwork), the pattern is fun to knit – without being fussy. Whip up your own Petite Parquet over a long weekend!
CONSTRUCTION
This cowl is knit flat, from one short end to the other with slipped stitch herringbone details. It’s worn with a perpendicular front fold and a button closure. The piece is finished with an optional crocheted slip-stitch edge along the perimeter.
