Overview of the pattern:
The Pink Pony Top is an elegant knit top featuring adorable short mohair sleeves that add a charming touch to an otherwise minimalist top design, knitted with fingering-weight yarn. You can, of course, knit the top without sleeves as well.

The top is worked top-down, starting with the back panel, which is shaped with short rows for a well-fitted look. Stitches are then picked up from the shoulder seams to shape the front before joining the body at the underarms. From there, the top is worked in the round down to the hem. Decreases are made before the ribbed hem for a refined silhouette. The neckline stitches are picked up and finished with a beautiful i-cord edge. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves using mohair yarn, and the sleeves are shaped with short rows, worked flat.

Gauge:
22 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch with 3 mm / US 2.5 needles (after blocking).
