Pipette Hat
The Pipette Hat features tuck-stitch welts at the bottom that echo the tube construction of the yarn itself, which is created by blowing Merino fibers into a cotton tube. This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up.

Yarn Weight 4
Finished Size 20 (22¾)“ circumference at brim and 8¾ (9½)” tall. Hat shown measures 20”.
Yarn Cascade Yarns Cantata (70% cotton, 30% Merino wool; 218 yd 200 m/3½ oz 100 g): #04 Black (MC) and #14 Berry (CC), 1 skein each.
Needles Size 8 (5 mm): 16” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge 18 sts and 26 rnds = 4” in St st.
