Pixie Boots
Worked from the toe up with an innovative new pocket toe technique, these seamless slippers are really quick to make and super cosy to wear.
The design details are enough to be interesting and not fussy, with a pretty garter stitch ridge on the leading edge and a reverse stocking stitch cuff to ensure that the slippers stay in place without slipping off.
The pattern is written to be fully flexible in shoe size; just choose the size which best suits your foot circumference and then follow the pattern instructions for a perfect fit.
You will need 1 (2: 2: 2: 2) x 50gm Aran weight yarn in the main shade, just 1 x 50gm contrast colour and an 80cm/32in circular needle in size 3.75mm (US 5) to work the magic loop method in the round, plus a smaller circular needle for the cuff.
As I said, these are really quick to make and with hardly any finishing or sewing up - good to go on the final cast off!
