This Pattern was inspired by the yarn, when I saw it for sale at my LYS I had to buy it.

When I think of possum yarn I imagine what a possum rancher might be like… With cowboy boots and a western hat, the female rancher chases a possum around the pen catching the biggest one. As she holds the possum down she pulls out electric shears from her leather belt that has more pockets than it has any right to have. She shaves the possum in no time at all, she releases it and it skulks away, she looks for her next victim. At the end of the day, she sits on the porch of her ranch house with fingerless gloves on sipping a cup of tea and reflects on a good day’s work.
