Plume of feathers
Sasha Kagan is known for her inspiring colourwork, and her latest design for The Knitter combines a striking intarsia yoke with a lower body of rich lace. The garment is worked from the top down; when the yoke is complete, it is cast off, then the body is knitted down to the hem. A hand-dyed yarn shows off the dewdrop lace pattern beautifully, while a decorative cast-off is used to add extra interest to the hems.
