Plumeria Mini is a top down lace tank for children featuring a lightweight fabric and simple finishing details. The garment is worked flat at first and then joined to work the body in the round. A picot bind off finishes the hem and highlights the movement of the lace fabric.
I-cord straps and a centered lace panel define the shape while keeping the construction straightforward.
Video tutorials are included for construction, working the straps, and the twisted center double decrease used in the lace motif.
Design Details
The sweater begins at the upper front and back worked flat. After the underarm, the work is joined and the lace body is worked in the round. Minimal seaming is required at the underarm. Straps are worked as I-cords and the body is finished with a picot bind off.

Yarn Notes
The sample uses a fingering weight merino singles yarn which allows the lace to open up after blocking and keeps the fabric light.
