Poetic is a textured beanie made with yarn I had left from previous projects. A garter stitch brim with slip stitches is created, and dividing sections of lace work, seed stitch, and slip stitches occur throughout. While writing the pattern, I got a bit funny and wrote a small poem to go with the pattern. Originally created with two colors, this project can be created on a single skein of DK or worsted weight yarn in one color as well.

GAUGE AND MEASUREMENTS:
About 24” in circumference and 9 inches from cast on to crown.
Gauge: About 8 rows and 6 sts per inch in stockinette after blocking.

PATTERN NOTES: Colors A and B can be stranded in sections 1 and 3. Color A is never broken until the project is finished.
