These socks were inspired by the vast fields of poppies in Eastern Europe. They feature short row heels for a snug fit and anatomically shaped toes. (Of course you can work a simple wedge toe.)

YARN
Fingering weight sock yarns.

Sample knitted in Laurelknits SuperSock (85 % merino wool, 15 % polyamide, 400 m / 435 yds / 100 g), colorways City Girl, Autumn Confetti and Fields of Gold.

You’ll also need approx. 3-4 m/ 3.25-4.5 yds of scrap yarn for the flower centers.
