Poppy est un petit châle triangulaire symétrique, pensé pour tenir bien chaud sans jamais être encombrant. Tricoté avec un fil de fingering et un fil de mohair tenus ensemble, il se construit de la pointe centrale vers le haut, grâce à un joli jeu d’augmentations et de rangs raccourcis qui lui donnent une belle amplitude. Pour la touche finale, j’ai ajouté un détail qui fait toute la différence : une élégante bordure au point de feston surjeté.
Rapide et agréable à réaliser, Poppy deviendra très vite un incontournable de votre garde-robe… et un modèle que vous aurez envie de décliner dans toutes les couleurs de l’arc-en-ciel.

Laine fingering contrastante pour la bordure en point de feston
Pour le fil contrastant, je recommande un fil non super wash d’origine animale pour pouvoir faire des joints invisibles avec la méthode du joint feutré (pas de nœud!)

23 mailles x 44 rangs = 10 x 10 cm (mesuré sur le prototype fini et bloqué)

Pour un châle, l’échantillon n’a pas besoin d’être exact, mais influencera la taille finale et la consommation de fil.

Poppy is a small, symmetrical triangular shawl designed to keep you warm without ever feeling bulky. Worked holding a fingering yarn and a mohair yarn together, it is constructed from the central tip upward, using a lovely mix of increases and German short rows that give it beautiful width and shape. For the final touch, I added an elegant overcast blanket-stitch edge that really makes it stand out.
Quick and enjoyable to knit, Poppy will soon become a wardrobe staple… and a pattern you’ll want to knit in every colour of the rainbow.
