This lacey cowl is light and ethereal, the perfect accessory for cool evenings when the temperature dips. The lace pattern is simple and easy to remember, making it a great introduction to lace and satisfying to knit.

This cowl was designed by Fancy Tiger Crafts for the 2014 Yarn Along the Rockies yarn crawl. It features Quince & Co’s Piper yarn, a 100% Texas grown yarn made with Texas Merino wool & Texas kid mohair.

Materials: 300 yards light fingering or lace weight yarn. Sample shown in Quince & Co Piper, color Odessa
Other yarns that would make a great substitute are the Fibre Co’s Meadow, Malabrigo Lace or Madelinetosh Prairie.
