This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole/shawl, which is 20 inches wide and 74 inches long. The shawl is comprised of a little known cable, and a more traditional Aran border stitch,

The unique cables will be fun to knit and wear for any cable lover.

The shawl is knit with one strand of lace weight merino-camel yarn and one strand of mohair-silk lace weight yarn held together, giving it a soft, fuzzy feel, that is just perfect for late summer or autumn nights and even some autumn days.

The stitches are both charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the pattern -- the optional crocheted border.

The yarn used in the sample is Handmaidens Merino Camel yarn in colorway, Radiant Orchid and one strand of Handmaiden’s Angel Hair in a similary colorway.. The stole/shawl was expertly tested by Gay Fehr who can be reached at: grf1956 @gmail.com

The pattern is for sale here on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop in the Int - Advanced Shawl Section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=…)
