This is a crochet pattern to create an amigurumi mandrake. This is a quick project that uses minimal amount of yarn, so a whole army of mandrakes could be made with one ball of yarn. The sample was made using Lion Brand Vanna’s choice which has since been discontinued. It can be replaced with another aran weight yarn, or even a worsted weight (which will result in the toy being slightly larger than in the original pattern).

The original mandrake when matching gauge and using the same hook and yarn is approx 5 inches tall.
