All appeal to the young and young at heart. Add to that stripes, ribbed texture, nubby or bumpy texture, ribbon tabs and a puppy with Squeaky arms, rattle arms and teething rings and you have the complete package to keep baby stimulated and busy.
As the added bonus you get the instructions to make 2 cute Puppy rattles. One has layers of different sizes and the other crochet covered cabone (round plastic rings found at most fabric stores in the notions area) to fascinate.

Blanket is 24-1/2” X 27-1/2”
Layered Rattle is 7-1/2” long
Ring Rattle is 10” long

Blanket was made using Red Heart Super Saver yarns in Royal Blue, Delft Blue and Cornmeal. You will also need J hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, 1” rattle insert, two 1” squeaker inserts, several teething rings, 1” wide ribbon in Yellow, Dark Blue and Light Blue, sewing needle and sewing thread.
Both rattles were made using Red Heart Super Saver yarns in Royal Blue, Delft Blue and Cornmeal. You will also need size J and 7 crochet hooks, size 10 crochet threads in Black & White, needle to take yarn, needle to take crochet thread, small amount of stuffing, 2” cabone rings, and a 1” rattle insert for each rattle.
