I originally sent pictures of this cowl for the first design contest that TKGA had in 2017. It was well received and even had a picture in the newsletter (K2TOG, November 2017). I decided to write it up and clarify the instructions for some of the techniques.
When I show the finished piece to people, they say, “That’s cool.” But when I tell them it’s a combination of brioche knitting and entrelac, I generally get, “Oh, … that’s nice,” and a quick retreat. Or even, “I could never do that; it’s just too hard.” I’m hoping to dispel that belief.
